FIN 103 - Survival Skills for Personal Finance (1)This course will prepare students for the most important financial decisions they will face within the first five years after graduation. The course will not only introduce students to valuable information concerning personal finance, but more importantly, will utilize findings from behavioral finance to help students overcome common roadblocks to meeting their financial goals. Topics will include: Determining your best option for paying back your student loan, the magic of compounding, saving early and often - the key to long term financial security, the biggest mistake people make concerning credit cards, and how to make investing in the stock market more like a “lazy river ride” and less like a “roller coaster”.
