POL 342 - Environmental Law and Politics (3)This course involves an examination of the law, institutions, actors, processes, and context influencing American environmental policymaking. Students investigate contemporary environmental issues including pollution, resource depletion, urban congestion and sprawl, extinction, and how these various factors impact divergent demographic groups differently. Students will explore, primarily, American law and politics related to the environment, and how these intersect with calls for environmental justice.
