BIO 432 - Principles of Microbiology (0, 4)Survey of microbial groups including bacteria, viruses, fungi, protists, and some invertebrate parasites. Bacterial structure, physiology, genetics, infection and disease, and immune response. Laboratory experience in isolation, culturing, morphological and biochemical characterization and identification; chemical and physical control of microbial growth. Prerequisite(s); if any: BIO 211 and CHE 211 and CHE 212 .
