BUS 623 - Financial Fluency (3)Managers in business use accounting and financial information on a daily basis. This does not imply that all managers must be intimately aware of intricate accounting techniques or wildly adept at high-level corporate finance. Instead, managers in most areas of the business need to understand fundamental principles and be able to apply sound reasoning and business practices to make decisions on a daily basis. In BUS 623 the goal is to assist prospective executive leaders in understanding the information provided by the accounting information system and in using that information to improve their decision making.
