CYB 101 - Introduction Into Cybersecurity (3)The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the basic concepts of cybersecurity. Students will develop a baseline understanding of information systems, how to secure and protect them, and how they can be compromised. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on labs and exercises, students will explore topics including internet security, vulnerability, privacy, policies/procedures, malware, firewalls, cyber threats, cybercrimes, and legal and regulatory issues in cybersecurity.
