CRJ 415 - Crime Data Visualization (3)

Data visualization is an essential skill in today’s accountability-oriented, data-driven world. It is the art of converting data and knowledge into attractive and easily understood graphics. Data visualization builds off research on human perception, cognition, and memory to optimize the meaningfulness and potential usefulness of research and analytical results. This course teaches students how to better understand their data, present clear and convincing evidence of their findings to the intended audience, and engage the audience throughout with data graphics.
