BIO 433 - Parasitology (0,4)

Parasitism, host-parasite interactions, life cycles. Classification, recovery and indentification techniques, microscopic examination. Human and veterinary parasitology: socio-economic factors and the spread of parasites, vectors and disease signs and symptoms; treatment of parasites. Lecture and laboratory. Prerequisites: Biology 211, 212 or permission of instructor. Prerequisite(s); if any: BIO 211 , BIO 212  or permission of instructor.
