CMM 103 - Introduction to Public Speaking (3)The ability to speak in public is a valuable tool in any career. This course examines fundamental principles of public speaking, focusing on informative and persuasive messages. Students will learn to choose interesting topics, research and organize content, and present speeches using effective vocal and nonverbal delivery skills. Other important elements of this course include an understanding of how to successfully address different audiences, how to effectively use presentation aids, and the role that public speaking plays in our world today. |
