Theory and principles of modern analytical instruments and techniques. Optical and electrochemical methods, chromatography, mass spectroscopy and magnetic resonance. Three hours lecture and six hours laboratory per week. Prerequisites: Chemistry 323 and 345. (Chemistry 345 may be taken concurrently.) Prerequisite(s); if any: CHE 323 and CHE 345.
